pattern substitution problem

Nov 23, 2014 at 5:26 PM
hello,
i need to substitute a place holder ${piu_debitori} with a string which is dynamically created as follow:
$piu_acquirenti=""
for($i=2;$i<=$_POST['num_acquirenti'];$i++) {
    $piu_acquirenti+=$_POST['nom_acquirente'.$i].', <more dynamic text here ....>';
}
$document->setValue('piu_acquirenti', $piu_acquirenti);
if i try the same on a different place holder i don't get the same problem.
another problem is with others variable like (c.f.: ${cf_creditore_ipoteca}).... $document->setValue('cf_creditore_pignoramento', $_POST['cf_creditore_pignoramento1']);.

the problem in both the cases is that the place holder does not get substituted and in the word remains the ${place_holder} signature

what am i missing?

Hi, did you find a solution for this? I'm having the same problem. I type ${search-pattern} and it only works sometimes. Seemingly it works only if I copy and paste it in if I've typed it in somewhere else, so I'm not sure if word might be putting in some extra stuff that messes the search and replace up...

hello,
i solved it by delete and retype the ${search-pattern} and it worked.
it seems that the problem lay in a word's mistyping when you modify the words.
if you remove / delete the ${search-pattern} and rewrite it will work.
